Senior Marketing Strategist

Childcare Marketing | Remote-First | Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Strategist who can combine commercial thinking, strategic leadership, and digital marketing expertise to help child care businesses grow.

The Senior Marketing Strategist owns the strategic direction of a portfolio of client accounts. You will act as a trusted marketing advisor, translating client business goals into high-impact growth strategies across paid media, SEO, content, web, and other digital channels. You will guide clients through marketing decisions, ensure campaigns are aligned with measurable objectives, and help them understand how marketing activity contributes to business growth.

You will also work closely with internal specialists to coordinate campaign execution, develop strategic recommendations, analyze performance insights, manage priorities, and ensure every client receives thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and measurable results.

Compensation

Salary: $2,500 – $3,500 per month (depending on experience)

Additional Benefits:

  • Full benefits package included.
  • Performance opportunities tied to client success and business outcomes.

Why You Should Work Here

Work That Matters: You transform lives by connecting families who need quality child care with the providers who serve them.

Recession-Proof Growth: An established, fast-growing company that continues to thrive while many competitors struggle.

Leadership That Has Your Back: A supportive, attentive team that answers your questions and helps you grow, professionally and personally.

An Owner Who Shows Up: Our owner is actively involved in the business - not just a name on the door.

Small-Team Feel: A friendly, tight-knit environment where you are a person, not a headcount.

Remote-First Flexibility: Work remotely while staying connected to a fast-moving, collaborative team. Buffalo-area candidates may also have opportunities for occasional in-person meetings, strategy sessions, or team gatherings.

Top-of-Market Pay: We pay above market because we hire the best and want to keep them.

Train to Be the Best: Access $100K+ in training, courses, and materials - enough to make you more knowledgeable than 99.9% of professionals in similar roles.

A Workspace That Feels Alive: Working from home can get lonely, so our virtual Sims-like office keeps the team connected day to day.

Quarterly Town Halls: Every quarter, you get a full state-of-the-company update, so you are never guessing where things stand.

The Dream-On Program: Each year, our CEO grants multiple wishes pulled straight from team members' dream boards.

25 Days Off: A full 25 paid days off per year, because we want you to have a real life outside work.

Paid Days to Give Back: 4 paid days a year to volunteer with any charity you choose.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will build strong relationships across your client portfolio, understand each client's business goals, and begin taking ownership of their marketing strategy and performance. Ongoing, you will be measured on:

Client Growth: Develop and execute marketing strategies that generate measurable growth for child care businesses, helping them increase enrollment and achieve their business goals.

Strategic Leadership: Become a trusted marketing advisor who guides clients through decisions around campaigns, budgets, opportunities, and long-term growth.

Campaign Performance: Improve campaign effectiveness through data-driven optimization of key metrics including leads, conversions, CPA, ROAS, CTR, and overall marketing performance.

Strategic Direction: Deliver clear recommendations, quarterly strategic roadmaps, and actionable insights that go beyond reporting and help clients understand where they should focus next.

Client Retention: Build strong client relationships by demonstrating value, communicating proactively, and helping clients see marketing as a growth investment.

Internal Collaboration: Partner with Account Managers, Media Buyers, Designers, Copywriters, and Operations teammates to ensure strategy and execution remain aligned.

A Typical Week Might Include

  • Leading client strategy meetings to review performance, discuss business goals, and recommend next steps.
  • Developing multi-channel marketing strategies based on client objectives, market conditions, and performance data.
  • Reviewing campaign results across paid media, SEO, content, web, and other marketing channels.
